Axcelle  Robinson (known as “Trouble”in the workshop)

Bonjour, my name is Axcelle Robinson and I have been employed by Lode Jewellery since March 2010. 

Back in Belgium I completed 3 years in jewellery school, and although I admit that my technique needs a lot of improvement, I am a fast learner and a hard worker (luckily I am patient and committed and am improving  quickly!) And it is tres magnifique to be working with the sea across the road and to be able to sit and watch the waves at lunchtime!

I love working at Lode because every day is a different day, I love the joy that a piece of jewellery can bring to someone, how it can make them cry with happiness!  I think that is priceless.

I also love all the animals, especially Everett and Mister Barrow!

My favourite stone would be tourmaline...I love all the different colours it can provide.

When not working at my bench I love horse riding, running , dancing and photography.  I read write and speak French, but my Kiwi slang is not so good!
