Janet Lewis

Recently taking a more active role in Lode Jewellery, Janet is now responsible for administration, merchandising, shop maintenance, photography and now website management. Always a keen photographer,( although more in the wildlife vein) Janet now spends more hours than she like to think about, taking photographs of the jewellery and then clearcutting the images ready to upload! She kind of hopes this will result in a fairly enjoyable trip through our new website, and online customers will be ordering in droves!  Except of course, we don’t make droves! We do, however, make fantastic gold and silver jewellery!

Janet is an ardent believer in Customer service and also thinks it is vitally important that Customers get to see and speak to the person making their jewellery. Jewellery purchasing should be a pleasurable and memorable experience (she reckons), not a frightening and intimidating one! The more relaxing the better (that’s where the wine bit comes in)

In her other non-working life, Janet is a keen vodka drinker, loves to walk any kind of dog, can’t cook to save her life, and has trouble sitting still.  Her sense of humour can be a little hard to understand, but not as hard as her accent, which seems almost unintelligible at times!
