Our Limited Edition jewellery ranges are just that...Limited!
At present there are three different ranges available  Native/Icon/Space

It all starts with an Artists Proof. This is a handcrafted piece of jewellery that has been designed specifically for the Limited Edition range. Made in either platinum, gold or sterling silver, the Artists Proof has a mould made, from which further copies can be cast. Once the mould is cut open, the Artists Proof is removed and handfinished, often taking on a quite different form from the resulting Limited Edition pieces... 

The limited runs are generally cast in sterling silver. Once the mould has been made, we decide how many repeats of that design we want to make, cast them, then destroy the mould. Sounds brutal and nasty but that ensures that we only make the number we say we do. This can be a a little frustrating when we hit on a popular design but being grown up about it, we move on and develop the next idea into reality.

The items in the Limited Edition ranges are stamped on the back with "LODE" so you know who made it, "925" if its in sterling silver, and something like this...14.50, so you know which number you have.
Some people request their lucky number, birthdate, or just a number that has special meaning to them...if that number is still available we are more than happy to sell that particular piece to the customer.

The Artist Proofs are stamped "LODE", "375" if in 9ct, " Roley" if Roley has personally handmade it and "AP" so you know it`s an Artist Proof.

These pieces are fun to create and when we are working on a new concept, everyone in the workshop is involved...including Janet.   Roley usually ends up making the artists proof but not without Axcelle`s sharp input and Janet`s and mocking laughter at some of Roley`s more way out ideas.
