The front (or outer sleeve) is a simple 14ct white gold oval shape with brown streaked hawks-eyes set in a rubover bezel.
The back (or inner sleeve) has a 14ct white gold surround, with a 14ct yellow gold pierced inlay. On the outside edge of this, black (heat treated) diamonds are seamlessly channel set all the way around. This oval shape swings freely on the end of the central arm.
The central arm is fixed behind the hawks-eye and extends back towards the inner sleeve. It is channel set with black (heat treated) diamonds down the length of the arm. One side is hallmarked "LODE", the other is pierced and set with white diamonds, creating a landscape of light and dark.
