"Mahutonga" - the southern cross.
These cufflinks are handcrafted in 14ct white and yellow gold.
The front (or outer sleeve) is an oval lapis lazuli set in a yellow gold rim. The lapis represents the night sky, with its deep blue colour and flecks of gold within.
The back (or inner sleeve) is an oval shaped frame of yellow gold. This is pierced in the middle to create a horizon line. Inside the frame, the southern cross is depicted by five white diamonds, that are set into a white gold textured background. This is hinged onto a curved arm of white gold that reaches out from behind the lapis.
