This design was inspired by the sun setting one summer evening. Standing behind a sparse stand of kanuka trees, the bright orange and yellow glow only showed in fragments between the dark woody branches.

The woody branch-like base of this ring is made in 18ct white gold. The spessartite garnet and natural yellow sapphire seem to intensify in colour in their 18ct yellow gold settings.
